Sidewalk Catwalk, an exhibition presented by LF USA beginning on June 24, 2010 through Labor Day, was the first Broadway Sculpture installation by the Garment District Alliance. Sidewalk Catwalk featured art pieces by 30 of New York's leading designers, including Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Kenneth Cole to name a few.  The exhibition showcased custom-built mannequins, displayed runway-style down Broadway from Times Square to Herald Square, modeling the interpretation of each artists view of New York.   

 

My artistic vision paid homage to New York City by representing some of New York's most iconic landmarks. The dress, created from wire covered in cement and then hand-tiled, features the New York skyline across the top, and the Chrysler building hand painted across the bottom. The headpiece was a Fashion Avenue street sign created from metal and vinyl.  

 

As part of this one-of-a-kind exhibition, to this day, I am honored to have my creation along side of World famous designers, paying homage to New York City.
